WHY I WROTE THIS
I spent 30 years in advertising, persuading people I didn't know to spend money they didn't have on things they didn't need.
It was a living. Then I noticed the planet was on fire and realised I was the one holding the matches.
So I wrote this book as a form of community service.
The Jigsaw Without a Lid Trying to solve climate change is like trying to finish a 1,000-piece jigsaw puzzle without the picture on the box lid. Some of us are looking for "sky" pieces (the environment), some are hunting for "straight edges" (politics), and others are just arguing about the "trees" (fossil fuels).
We are fighting little battles because we don’t see the big picture which is hidden from us on purpose. The people profiting from the fire don't want us to see the lid.
The Resistance is Small, Fast, and Everywhere This book is my attempt to explain that box lid. And people who’ve read it say it makes them want to join the Resistance. Not with guns, but with choices. (Read the reviews.)
They call themselves Hummingbirds.
Why you won't find this on Amazon: I spent three decades feeding the Dragon. I’m not handing him this book, too. I don't have a marketing budget but I do have word-of-mouth which is better than any algorithm.
"What difference can one hummingbird make?" asked 8 billion hummingbirds
Many thanks,
